Mirador del Rio - From this artificial platform you can enjoy an awesome view over the channel to some smaller islands. You have to pay to get in, but it is well worth it.
Playa Blanca - This small town does not get so many visitors as other Lanzarote towns, and is all the better because of it. Quiet and picturesque. Nice.
Puerto Del Carmen - The main tourist destination on the island, thankfully, Puerto del Carmen has no high rise buildings, and is therefore not so ugly as Benidorm. Nice beaches too.
Teguise - The old capital of the island, with its pleasant buildings and nice sights, Teguise is by far the most charming place in Lanzarote.
